Field Day

Hannah's Heroes of NC 6th Annual #BeaHannah Day:
On June 7th- between noon-2pm-  students in Upper Elementary through Secondary are invited to the High School Community Room to join the Senior Class and Hannah's Heroes of NC in decorating cupcakes for local everyday heroes.  Family and friends of past WMPCS student, Hannah Cuthrell, honor her life by spreading love and kindness on her birthday- June 8th. In 2017, Hannah was a 5th year at WMPCS when we lost her in a car accident near the school. 

There are several ways to participate:  
 
1) Help decorate and share cupcakes for everyday heroes in our community. WMPCS students and guides will be invited to the community room on June 7th for some cupcake decorating fun. Students will go home with cupcakes to give to local heroes. 
 
2) Honor a first responder, teacher, or an everyday hero by doing something kind for them and telling them “thank you!”  We are hoping that sharing Hannah’s spirit and spreading a smile with our everyday heroes will make this day a little brighter.  
 
3) Wear some purple (her favorite color), smile a little bigger, and engage in random acts of kindness as we #beahannah on her birthday.
