Our Campus

WMPCS has six buildings surrounded by over 36 acres of trails and fields in a natural setting. The Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary buildings are environmentally friendly structures designed by Innovative Designs of Raleigh, NC. Our new High School and Gym was designed by MHA Architects through Stocks and Taylor Construction Company. These buildings incorporate a day-lighting system of skylights with the Upper Elementary building also having rain water barrels to irrigate the planters and solar panels for extra energy. The Children's House and Middle School are housed in two commercial grade modular buildings that are constructed with similar materials as our permanent buildings.

The campus also has many wonderful treasures of nature. An old oak tree that has overlooked the small pond for over one hundred years. A stream, home to many turtles and tadpoles, and a trail leads through the woods, by the outdoor amphitheater, over two bridges, and down by the pond. With over 36 acres of wooded areas and trees, our students are often found in outside classroom spaces.
