2011-12 School Calendar Thursday, August 25th - First Day of School. Monday, September 5th - Labor Day Holiday. No school for students or staff. Friday, September 30th - 1/2 day Dismissal 11:30 Pre-K and K students 12:00noon 1st - 8th grade BASC will be available. (Rest of the day will be a Teacher Workday/Staff Development.) Monday, October 31st - 1/2 day Dismissal 11:30 Pre-K and K students 12:00noon 1st - 8th grade BASC will be available. (Rest of the day will be a Teacher Workday) Tuesday, November 1st - 1/2 day early dismissal to start Parent Conferences. BASC provided. Tues- Fri, November 1st - 4th - Parent Conferences held after school. Friday, November 11th - Veteran's Day Observed. No school for students or staff. Wednesday, November 23rd - 1/2 day early dismissal to kick off Thanksgiving Holiday. No After School Care offered. Thurs. & Fri, November 24th - 25th - Thanksgiving Holiday. No school for students or staff. Wednesday, December 21st - 1/2 day early dismissal to kick off Christmas Holiday. No After School Care offered. Thurs - Fri, December 22nd - 30th - Christmas Holiday. No school for students or staff. Monday, January 2nd - Teacher Workday. No school for students. Tuesday, January 3rd - School starts back for students. Monday, January 16th - Martin Luther King Holiday Observed. No school for students or staff. Monday, January 23rd - Teacher Workday. No school for students. Monday, February 20th - Teacher Workday. No school for students. Thursday, March, 29th - 1/2 day early dismissal. BASC provided. Friday, March 30th - Teacher Workday. No school for students. Friday, April 6th - 1/2 day early dismissal to kick off Spring Break. No After School Care offered. Mon - Fri, April 9th - 13th - Spring Break Holiday. No school for students or staff. Monday, April 30th - Teacher Workday/Staff Development. No school for students. Monday, May 28th - Memorial Day Holiday. No school for students or staff.
